You are invited to the 5th Annual Walk for Women.

A 3 day event dedicated to the Breast Cancer Awareness & helping local residents fighting breast cancer.

This year Walk for Women is proud to announce the raffle of a beautiful queen-size quilt that was hand-made by Norma Harris. Raffle tickets which were donated by our friends at Texas Moon  are available for $1.00

The quilt will be on display at B & S Kites in South Padre Island. The raffle tickets may also be purchased at that location.

Friday Sept. 26th

The 6^th Annual Walk for Women kicks off with "A Fiesta in Pink" Banquet.  The Banquet includes Dinner and a Silent and Live Auction from 7:00 pm- 11:00 pm at Louie's Backyard on South Padre Island.  To purchase a ticket, to Donate for the auction, or for more information please contact us.

Saturday Sept. 27th

Our Walk for Women Bayfishing Tournament is an amateur tournament limited to 30 boats, men and women  anglers welcome. Determination of winners will be combined weight of  1 of each species (Redfish, Trout, Flounder) Fishing starts "on your honor" at 7:00AM. Weigh-in will be No later than 1:00PM at the Wahoo's Saloon Dock followed by a complimentary BBQ and Awards ceremony. Additional information and rules

Sunday Sept. 28th

The 6^th Annual Walk for Women "A Day of Breast Cancer Awareness."  Registration starts at 10:00 AM at the South Padre Island Convention Center. The 2.5 mile Walk leaves the Convention Center at 12 Noon and ends at Louie's Backyard with live music, raffle prizes and more! Online pledge forms are now available. (Please register inside the convention center Sunday morning prior to the walk.) We encourage you to bring your families, groups, banners, etc...!!!
