On Sunday, October 12 we Walk to honor the breast cancer survivors, fighters and thrivers and remember those we have lost but who remain in our hearts.

Registration is from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the South Padre Island Convention Centre. The Walk starts promptly at 10:00 am.

We will go south on Padre Blvd to Louie’s Backyard, a distance of approximately 3 miles. The walk is FREE! Bring your friends and family!

No bicycles or golf carts are allowed. You will be responsible for your own transportation between Louie’s and the Convention Center.

What a great weekend for the return of SPICE!!! The weather was fine, we had lots of attendees and we raised almost $20,000 to benefit women in the Valley fighting breast cancer. This was one of our biggest events yet in terms of teams and chilis - 16 teams and 30 chilis! Thanks to all of our chefs and cooking teams, the attendees and our sponsors.

NOTICE - The Walk route has changed due to COVID Variant concerns. We want to avoid large gatherings inside buildings. Therefore, the walk route will be a round trip starting and ending at the Convention Center.

On Sunday, October 10, we Walk to honor the breast cancer survivors, fighters and thrivers and remember those we have lost but who remain in our hearts.

Registration is from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the South Padre Island Convention Centre. The Walk starts promptly at 10:00 am.

We will go south on Padre Blvd to the Post Office at Mars street. The route will then turn west to Laguna Blvd. From there we will go north on Laguna to Georgia Ruth. On Georgia Ruth the route will go east back to Padre Blvd, then north back to the Convention Center.

On Friday October 10, 2021, we will hold a Silent Dance Party.  What is a Silent Dance Party you ask?  A silent disco or silent rave is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones.  Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants.  There are three channels of music to choose from.  Find someone with the same color headphones as yours and dance with them!

Envision a room full of people, dancing like maniacs, but there is no sound in the room!

In addition to the Dance Party, we will host a “Bucket Auction”. For $5 per ticket, you can put your ticket in any of 25-30 buckets for the item(s) displayed next to that bucket. You can also buy the “Arms Width” string of tickets. Hold your arms out to the side as wide as you can, and get a string of tickets as long as your arms for only $50! Or find a tall friend and use his/her arms for your ticket string!

Finally, we will hold a live auction of 4-5 items, including the artist’s original T-shirt artwork.

The event will be from 7-11 pm on Friday October 10, 2021 at Louie’s Backyard. Admission is $20 per person and includes free hors d’oeuvres. Headphone rental for the Silent Dance is $10. Be there!

What a fantastic day we had for the 2020 Winter Fundraiser!! We had 15+ teams entered and 20+ chilis to taste. We estimate over 350 people attended and believe they all had a great time! The weather was perfect for a day of cooking. Thanks to all our chefs and attendees for making sure we are able to continue our mission of helping women and families in the Valley who are fighting breast caner with financial assistance. It wouldn’t happen without supporters such as you.
